THE ISSUE:
When NARHS  graduates are completing the FAFSA Form online, they will reach a pull-down menu where the student is to choose the high school from which they received their high school diploma.  NARHS  is NOT listed there!   Not to worry...  there is a solution.

SOLUTION: 
When you come to that section on the FAFSA form,  go to the “NEXT” item.  Yes, just click on “NEXT” and proceed.  You will come to a place to write in “North Atlantic Regional Schools”.  NARHS is on the Maine Department of Education Web site as a valid high school issuing a valid diploma.  The Maine Department of Education information is current and HAS been current every year for the past 22 years!
FINALLY:
Being denied financial aid has almost nothing to do with your diploma or your school.   It is more likely that some information supplied on your application limited your eligibility or qualification.
